Audi has reported that the supercar's design was created in the spirit of the R18 E-Tron racing prototype, which won victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. This concept is intended to draw attention to the production crossover from Ingolstadt, which will become the first production model in the new electric E-Tron family.

The crossover's unveiling is scheduled for September 17. The production Audi E-Tron will feature two electric motors with a combined output of 360 horsepower. In sport mode, the output can temporarily increase to more than 400 horsepower for a short period. The crossover will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in six seconds, and the top speed will be limited to 200 km/h.

The motors will be powered by a set of batteries with a capacity of 95 kWh, which will be enough for 400 kilometers of travel without recharging. With a 150-kilowatt fast charging system, the energy reserve can be replenished in half an hour.
