The head of Tesla did not disclose details regarding the upcoming project. At the same time, according to available data, the company does not plan to release a B-class car capable of competing, say, with the Fiat 500e, Mini Electric, Renault Zoe, or Honda Urban EV.
Most likely, we are talking about a larger electric vehicle, whose main competitors will be the Nissan Leaf, BMW i3, as well as the expected electric hatchback from Volkswagen from the new I.D. series.
In addition, at the Tesla shareholders meeting, a fresh image of the compact crossover Model Y was shown, whose premiere is scheduled for 2018, and the start of serial production for 2020.
