The design changes are limited to a slight modernization of the optics, as well as new body color and wheel options. The updated Mini is easiest to distinguish by the new brand emblems and rear lights styled after the UK flag.
Inside, a new multimedia system with a 6.5-inch screen has appeared, and the selection of decorative trim elements has expanded.
The base versions Mini First and Mini One have acquired a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 75 and 102 hp, respectively. Instead of the six-speed automatic, the previously announced seven-speed robot with two clutches is now offered.
The updated Mini lineup will officially debut in a few days at the Detroit Motor Show.
