The BMW Group division will announce its new strategy in the near future. The last petrol Mini model will appear in 2025 and, according to rumors, it will be a crossover.
It has also been stated that by 2027 half of all Minis produced will be electric vehicles. This is, of course, a very ambitious plan, given the brand's model lineup.

Recall that currently the British brand's lineup has only one electric car Mini Cooper SE. It is equipped with a powertrain from BMW i3 – a 184-horsepower motor and a battery with a capacity of 32.6 kWh.
Earlier it became known that Mini signed a cooperation agreement with the Chinese concern Great Wall in the field of electric vehicles. In 2023, the first joint model for the Chinese market will be released.
