Judging by the first images, the new Veloster will look more aggressive. In addition, it is already known that the model will retain its signature asymmetric design with a pair of doors on the passenger side and one on the driver's side.

The Veloster's engine lineup will include two turbocharged gasoline engines with displacements of 1.4 and 1.6 liters. A 7-speed "robot" will be offered as the transmission. It is also reported that the hatchback will receive an independent multi-link rear suspension instead of the previous semi-independent one.
More detailed information about the second generation Hyundai Veloster should appear closer to the January premiere.
