Ascent is expected to fill the niche of a flagship crossover, which has been empty for several years since the Tribeca model left the market.
The crossover will be based on the modular Subaru Global Platform, and the estimated length of the model may exceed five meters.
Production of the Subaru Ascent will be launched early next year at the American plant in Indiana.
