Externally, the Jaguar E-type Zero can be distinguished from the "classic" only by the LED optics in the headlights.

But in the interior, the retro style has noticeably diminished. The new content of the model is revealed by the digital instrument panel, media center screen, gear selector, and carbon fiber trim.

The electric powertrain delivers 220 kW (299 hp) and is powered by a 40 kWh battery. The developers deliberately limited the power of the electric motor to not disrupt the harmony of the retro car.

The E-type Zero will take 5.5 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h, and on a single charge it can travel up to 270 km. Recharging the batteries will take about 7 hours.

Tim Hannig, head of the Jaguar Land Rover Classic division, said that the company is ready to offer E-type owners the conversion of their cars to the Zero version. Moreover, if necessary, the petrol configuration can be restored. The cost of the work has not yet been announced.
