The facelift brought the model a new radiator grille, revised headlights, and redesigned bumpers. The sedan also gained new wheel and body color options.

The interior remained virtually unchanged, except for updated trim materials and new seats.

The 3.5-liter V6 retained its previous 314 hp, but is now available with a 10-speed automatic instead of the outdated six-speed.

The power of the upgraded hybrid version, equipped with three additional electric motors, also remains unchanged at 382 hp. The hybrid RLX still features all-wheel drive and a rich trim level.
U.S. sales of the updated Acura RLX sedan will start in late autumn.
