The "second" Enclave has moved to the new C1XX platform, which allowed the crossover to shed about 200 kg of "excess" weight. At the same time, the model has grown 61 mm in length (5189 mm), but has become 5 mm narrower (2002 mm) and 46 mm lower (1775 mm). The wheelbase has increased to 3071 mm (+51 mm).

The exterior of the new generation has become more expressive and slightly more aggressive. The interior has transformed even more radically and has almost no common parts with its predecessor. The cabin of the top Avenir version (pictured) looks especially impressive, trimmed with more expensive materials.

As a powertrain, the new Enclave received a six-cylinder 3.6-liter engine producing 308 hp and 353 Nm. A new 9-speed automatic transmission is paired with the engine. Drive is still customer's choice – front or all-wheel drive.

Sales of the second-generation Buick Enclave crossover are scheduled to start in the fall. Prices have not been announced yet.
