The four-cylinder supercharged engine from the Ingenium family produces 300 hp and 400 Nm. Paired with the new powertrain, only rear-wheel drive and a non-alternative 8-speed automatic transmission are offered, although more powerful versions of the model can be all-wheel drive and with a manual transmission.
The base F-Type can accelerate to 249 km/h, covering the first hundred in 5.7 seconds. Average fuel consumption is 7.2 l/100km.
Externally, the base version can be identified by a single rectangular exhaust pipe located in the center of the rear bumper.
