John Edwards, who heads the SVO division responsible for creating sports modifications of Land Rover and Jaguar, hinted at the appearance of a new version of the Discovery model.
During the interview, the head compared the upcoming extreme variant of the Discovery with the famous rally marathons "Dakar" and "Camel Trophy", clarifying that the new product will occupy an intermediate position between these two competitions.
It is expected that the special modification will be called SVX and may be presented this year, but the technical characteristics are still kept secret.
