As previously expected, the hybrid crossover received a powertrain from the BMW 225xe Active Tourer model, consisting of a 1.5-liter turbo engine and an electric motor with a total output of 224 hp.

The hybrid Countryman consumes 2.3 l/100 km and can travel 40 km without the help of the gasoline engine. The acceleration dynamics to 100 km/h for the "eco version" is almost the same as for the most "charged" JCW variant: 6.8 sec. versus 6.5.

The battery reserve can be replenished from a regular power outlet in about three hours, or an hour faster when charging from a special device.

From the standard "Countryman" the hybrid differs by a flap for connecting the charger, badges, and a reduced trunk volume from 450 to 405 liters.
Sales of the Mini Cooper S E Countryman All4 start in mid-summer, but prices have not yet been announced.
