The Focus Electric has received new batteries: their capacity has grown from 23 to 33.5 kWh. Thanks to this, the driving range has increased from 162 to 225 kilometers. However, its main competitor from Japan, the Nissan Leaf, covers 250 km on a single charge, so the Focus still has potential for improvement.
The power of the electric motor remains the same — 145 horsepower. The dynamics have not changed either: the top speed is 137 km/h, and acceleration to 100 km/h takes 11.4 seconds.
In Germany, the Focus Electric starts at 34,900 euros. This model is not officially available on the Ukrainian market.
