Seat CEO Luca de Meo told the British press about the intention to release the "Spanish Macan".
The 20V20 concept (pictured) can be considered as a prototype of the new crossover, which is close in size to the "Macan" and was shown in 2015.
This model will become the largest crossover in the brand's lineup. Its engine range may include a 280-horsepower VR6 unit used on the Volkswagen Atlas.
The premiere of the "sport-crossover" will take place no earlier than 2019 — before that, the public will be shown the more compact Seat Arona, which is likely to debut already in autumn.
