The universal version of the Insignia has become 89 mm longer compared to the previously announced Gran Sport hatchback, and also received a more spacious cargo area. The manufacturer has so far only reported the maximum trunk volume of 1640 liters, which is 110 liters more than the previous model. However, it can be expected that the standard figure will remain at about 540 liters.
Data on powertrains for the new generation Insignia is still kept secret by Opel representatives. It is only known that the car will be equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and will also be available in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions.
