The first official image of the hatchback shows it only partially, but it's already clear that there will be very few differences in the exterior.
Details about the technical specifications have not yet been released, but most likely, the engine lineup will be taken from the 'Elantra' sedan for the American market. This includes a two-liter unit with 149 hp, as well as a pair of turbocharged engines with displacements of 1.4 and 1.6 liters, producing 130 and 204 hp, respectively.
The official debut of the new model is scheduled for next week and will take place at the Chicago Auto Show.
