The new generation BMW 5 Series has acquired the most economical diesel modification, the 520d EfficientDynamics.
The economical "five" received a two-liter diesel engine producing 190 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. Combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission, this engine consumes only 3.9 liters of fuel per hundred kilometers in the combined cycle.
To achieve minimal consumption, the EfficientDynamics version uses special low-rolling-resistance tires.
The price for the BMW 520d EfficientDynamics has not been announced yet.
