The Tesla Model S electric car in the 100D version demonstrates an impressive range: 335 miles (539 km) according to the EPA cycle and 632 km according to the NEDC standard. Previously, the top modification P100D held the palm in terms of distance without recharging, which could travel 507 km in the American cycle and 613 km in the European one.
For the most "energy-intensive" version of the Model S, acceleration to 100 km/h takes 4.4 seconds, and its maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
A similar battery has also appeared in the electric crossover Model X, but its range is somewhat less — 295 miles (475 km) according to EPA and 565 km according to the NEDC cycle.
The price for the Model S 100D starts at $95,800. For the Model X 100D crossover, you will have to pay $6,000 more.
