The E-Class Coupe borrowed some design elements from the coupe versions of the C and S-Class, but retained the third "mini-window" that has become a signature feature of this model. The new generation has grown in all dimensions, especially in length (+123 mm) and wheelbase (+113 mm).

The interior of the new model is almost identical to the sedan, with only the air vents and seats changed.

Technically, the coupe also fully replicates the four-door version. Initially, the "two-door" will be available in E 200 and E 300 modifications, equipped with a two-liter turbo engine in two tuning variants producing 184 and 245 hp. There is only one diesel version so far – E 220d (194 hp). At the top of the lineup is the all-wheel-drive E 400 4Matic coupe with a three-liter V6 producing 333 hp. All modifications are equipped with the only available nine-speed automatic transmission 9G Tronic.

As an option for the E-Class Coupe, an automatic parking system controlled via smartphone is offered, as well as the almost fully autonomous Drive Pilot function.

Prices for the model will only be announced next year. Sales will start no earlier than spring.
