The Japanese manufacturer is not yet disclosing details about the upcoming new product, however, according to available information, the new LS will be built on the extended modular GA-L architecture.

It is also expected that at the start of sales the model will be offered in two versions: with a five-liter V8 gasoline engine and with a hybrid powertrain. In the future, the appearance of a version running on hydrogen fuel cells is not ruled out.

The debut of the fifth-generation LS will take place in January at the Detroit auto show.
