Dodge company has finally unveiled the long-awaited all-wheel-drive version of the muscle car Challenger, which received the GT suffix.
The all-wheel drive system is borrowed from the Charger AWD sedan. By default, the Challenger GT remains rear-wheel drive and does not engage the front axle unless necessary.
All-wheel drive is currently available exclusively with the six-cylinder Pentastar engine with a displacement of 3.6 liters and a power of 309 hp. Over time, more "charged" all-wheel drive versions should appear.
The price of the new model in the US starts at $34,490.
