Seat company head Luca de Meo announced that the Ateca crossover will have a more compact relative named Arona.
There is still little data about the upcoming new product. The Arona model will be based on the platform of the new generation Ibiza hatchback, the premiere of which is expected in the middle of next year.
It is also reported that the crossover will get a hybrid modification, and in the future may become a fully electric car.
The premiere of the Seat Arona is scheduled for the very end of 2017.
