Maserati plans to release a production version of the Alfieri concept car with an electric powertrain.
The electric version will offer an alternative to the variant with a three-liter turbocharged engine producing over 500 horsepower. The production Alfieri will be built on the platform used in the Quattroporte sedan.
However, as previously stated by the head of Maserati's European division, Giulio Pastore, the elegant Alfieri will go into production no earlier than 2020.
