The reason for the recall was a malfunction in the electric mechanism of the sliding doors: if the door was not secured, it could spontaneously open right while driving.
This is not the first recall of this minivan — previously it was recalled due to problems with the power steering and brake lights.
Officially, the Sienna was not supplied to Ukraine, so owners of cars imported through "gray" schemes should either visit a service center on their own or always remember the need to lock the doors while on the road.
