The Stelvio crossover is built on the Giorgio platform, which also underpins the Giulia sedan. The model debuted immediately in the most "charged" version, Quadrifoglio, equipped with a 510-horsepower twin-turbo V6 engine with a displacement of 2.9 liters.

The Stelvio Quadrifoglio can accelerate to 285 km/h, covering the first hundred in just 3.9 seconds. Optional carbon-ceramic Brembo brake mechanisms help tame such power.

The more subdued base modification is equipped with a two-liter turbo engine producing 284 hp and a torque of 410 Nm. Both engines work in tandem with an 8-speed automatic from ZF.

In the future, the engine lineup should be supplemented with diesel power units.
