AvtoVAZ announced the start of sales of the most powerful modification of the compact hatchback Lada XRay.
The new version of the model is equipped with a 122-horsepower 1.8-liter engine, which is paired with a 5-speed manual from Renault. The new engine allows the hatchback to accelerate to 100 km/h on the speedometer in 10.4 seconds. The modification with the 5-speed automated manual is half a second slower.
The base trim of the Lada XRay 1.8 includes a pair of airbags, air conditioning, an audio system, and heated seats. The cost of the new version on the domestic market is $10,500.
