MINI company shared some information and the first official photos of the hybrid version of the Countryman crossover.
The first-ever hybrid "Mini" will be named Countryman E. The crossover's powertrain will consist of a 136-horsepower 1.5-liter engine and an electric motor with 88 hp. A similar hybrid system is already used on the BMW 225xe Active Tourer.
The range on electric power alone will be 41 km, and charging the batteries will take about three hours. The maximum speed in fully electric mode is 125 km/h.
