The appearance of the upcoming new product remained behind the scenes — engineers were testing a prototype clad in a Megane GT body with minor extensions. There is reason to believe that the next generation will be offered in a five-door version, while the previous version was offered exclusively with three doors.
According to unofficial data, under the hood there will be a 1.8-liter turbocharged engine developing 300 horsepower, as well as an all-wheel drive system. The premiere is expected in about a year at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
