The hint at the new product allows us to assess only the front part of the car, but it is already clear: the new Discovery will lose its recognizable "angular" appearance, and its styling will echo the smaller Discovery Sport.

Along with the updated design, the next generation of the SUV, apparently, will acquire a lighter aluminum body — similar to what happened with the Range Rover Sport, which lost more than 400 kilograms when changing generations.

The manufacturer is keeping technical details under wraps for now, but the date of the official unveiling has already been announced — September 28, that is, one day before the opening of the Paris Motor Show.
