The new generation has grown slightly in size and received a design in the style of the larger Elantra model. At the front, there is a signature trapezoidal radiator grille, revised headlights and bumpers. The rear pillar has a new design, and the taillights now feature LED optics.
The new model is 4380 mm long (+5 mm), 1728 mm wide (+28 mm), and the height remains unchanged (1460 mm). The wheelbase has been increased by 30 mm and now stands at 2600 mm.
The interior is also styled after the larger model. The sedan now offers a new multimedia system with an 8-inch touchscreen, as well as an engine start button.
The engine lineup remains unchanged. The new generation model is scheduled to go on sale outside the Asian market only next year.
