The new C3 features a bold and even daring body design. It is also important to note the extensive personalization options, which have become available for the first time in compact cars of the mid-price segment: a two-tone body paint option (three roof color variants); a choice of different styling for fog lights and rear-view mirrors; protective Airbump® trim; and four interior design options are also offered.
When creating the interior, the designers were guided by the Citroën Advanced Comfort® program, which aims to create comfort in the modern sense of the word. The main components of comfort are comfortable seats with pleasant upholstery materials, a panoramic glass roof that fills the cabin with light, and spacious and well-thought-out storage compartments for small items. The first positive impression is enhanced by the trim materials borrowed from the world of furniture and travel.
The newcomer offers a 7-inch touchscreen display that controls all additional functions, a keyless entry and start system. And with a 5-door body 3.99 m long and a 5-seat cabin with a 300-liter trunk, the new Citroen C3 is convenient for the whole family and maneuverable for driving through narrow city streets.
Among the new options, it is worth noting CITROËN ConnectedCam™. It is an integrated HD camera that records everything that happens on the road; photos and videos can be shared on social networks or used as evidence in the event of an accident. In addition, other driver assistance systems are provided: built-in 3D navigation with voice control, blind spot monitoring system, rear-view camera, and lane departure warning system.
The new C3 is equipped with new engines (PureTech petrol engines and BlueHDi turbodiesels). Customers will be offered a choice of 3-cylinder petrol engines of different power: PureTech 68, PureTech 82, PureTech 110 (Stop & Start). The diesel range consists of BlueHDi 75 (Stop & Start) and BlueHDi 100 (Stop & Start) engines. Initially, all engines will be available with a manual transmission, but soon the new C3 will also get a modern EAT6 automatic.
