As reported by representatives of the Japanese automaker, the new batteries for the Nissan Leaf will allow it to travel from 500 to 550 kilometers without recharging.
Such an update should significantly expand the hatchback's audience and prove to drivers that an electric car can be quite practical in everyday use.
The first versions of the Leaf could travel about 160 km, then this figure grew to 200 km. Now, the 2016 model is capable of covering up to 250 km on a single charge.
It is worth adding that currently the Nissan Leaf is the most popular electric car in Ukraine, as well as one of the most in demand in the world.
