Earlier, the Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell crossover set a speed record among fuel cell crossovers. The SUV was able to accelerate to 152.2 km/h during a test in California. At the same time, the maximum speed of the crossover is 160 km/h. The power plant of the car includes a 100-kilowatt electric motor and a hydrogen tank. The maximum range on a single refueling is 426 km.

In the US, the hydrogen fuel cell crossover went on sale last summer. To date, Hyundai has sold about 100 Tucson Fuel Cell units in the American market.
