This decision is apparently directly related to the launch of the new Mercedes-Maybach S 600 into production.
It should be noted that the German "nine", unlike the Maybach, will not be a lengthened and more luxurious production model. In the case of Mercedes, we recall, it is about a more comfortable and luxurious S-class.
Back in April, the Bavarians showed the Vision Future Luxury concept, which, in fact, became the prototype of the 9th series. There is no official information yet about its release dates, but it is known that the flagship sedan will be about 5.5 m long and will get a hybrid powertrain.
