As expected, the new model received a bright new design. In addition to the exterior changes, the car also received new technological solutions. The version for the European market will be presented at the Paris Motor Show.
The engineers state that the main focus in creating the new car was on increasing comfort and improving handling. The body structure is designed to be 14% stiffer than its predecessor. Laser welding has been added to the assembly technology. New approaches have been applied to sound insulation, and accordingly, acoustic comfort in the cabin has increased by 3-6%.
The independent suspension from the previous generation has undergone significant changes, affecting both the front and rear assemblies.
In the engine lineup, you can choose from five engines – three petrol with power ranging from 172 to 270 hp, and two diesel, whose power is not yet disclosed. There is also no information yet on which powertrains will be offered in Europe.
