Maserati has shown a "charged" modification of the GranTurismo convertible, which has been named GranCabrio Sport.
The main distinguishing feature of this car is its powertrain, which it inherited from the racing supercar GranTurismo MC Stradale. This refers to a naturally aspirated 4.7-liter V8 producing 450 horsepower. Paired with this engine, the GranCabrio Sport will use a six-speed automatic from ZF, which is a variant of the same gearbox installed on the sporty Quattroporte Sport GT S sedan. The top speed the new convertible can reach is 285 kilometers per hour.
