The company's stand featured Chance cars in sedan and hatchback bodies, equipped with an 86-horsepower 1.5-liter gasoline engine meeting Euro-4 environmental requirements. It is paired with an experimental, still four-speed automatic transmission. ZAZ has not yet made a final choice of transmission — options from two or three suppliers of gearboxes produced under GM license are currently being considered.
Production of cars with an automatic transmission in Ukraine is scheduled to start in 2010, and such cars are expected at dealerships already at the beginning of next year.
