Replacement or renewal of a driver's license
This service can be obtained online — both in the Driver's Cabinet and in the Diia app. It is worth using if:

  • the validity period of a license issued for two years has expired;

  • the document has been lost or damaged;

  • the information on the form has worn off and become unreadable;

  • there have been changes in the owner's personal data;

  • there is a need to replace an outdated license with a new-format document.

The procedure looks like this: log in to your personal account, select the required option, specify the reason for the request, choose the type of document (electronic or physical) and the delivery option (at a service center, via Ukrposhta, or courier delivery).
Prices are as follows: a plastic document costs UAH 608, a digital one — UAH 230. If you order delivery via Ukrposhta, you will have to pay an additional UAH 294.

Registration or termination of an authorized user (shared car use)
This option can be activated online at any time and requires no costs. An authorized user is a person to whom the car owner transfers the right to drive the vehicle on official grounds.
This function became especially popular after the launch of automatic recording of traffic violations by cameras. In such a case, fines come to the driver, not the car owner.
The rules here are simple: only one authorized user can be registered for one vehicle, and changes — appointment or cancellation — can be made remotely in a matter of minutes.

Replacement or renewal of a vehicle registration certificate
Through Diia, you can exchange or renew this document if it is lost, damaged, personal data has changed, or the owner wants to switch from a paper version to an electronic one or vice versa. There is also an option to order a new license plate with the DI series.
How it works: choose the service, fill out the application, pay, and pick up the document at a branch or receive it by mail.
The amount depends on the list of selected options:

  • UAH 1306 — if license plates are changed;

  • UAH 956 — if old plates are kept;

  • UAH 700 — electronic document with new plates;

  • UAH 350 — electronic document without changing plates.

Remote re-registration of a vehicle
Buying or selling a car (the first such transaction within a year) is now possible without visiting institutions. The seller logs into Diia, creates a QR code, and passes it to the buyer. Then the buyer:

  • scans this code;

  • decides which license plates to use — keep the previous ones or order new ones;

  • specifies the format of the certificate — electronic or physical;

  • determines how to receive the document — at a service center, via Ukrposhta, or courier;

  • makes payment online.

The final price is formed taking into account the selected services (certificate form, license plates, delivery). During processing, the system automatically calculates the required amount, but the basic rates correspond to the tariffs of service centers (in particular, a plastic certificate with license plates will cost UAH 1306).
