"The reason for the inspections was consumer complaints, including unreasonably high fuel prices, lack of fiscal receipts, as well as restrictions on the choice of payment method. These appeals began to arrive in recent days after state regulation of gasoline and diesel prices was abolished", — the statement said.
The agency emphasized that entrepreneurs are still obliged to register price increases in advance. Earlier it became known that the government officially suspended state regulation of gasoline and diesel fuel last week.
