232 MPs passed in the first reading a draft law providing for increased liability for violation of legislation on the installation and/or use of special signal devices.

According to the draft, it is proposed to tighten and establish liability for:
- the presence of such devices if they are installed unlawfully or have not been removed (part three) and at the same time increase fines (entails a fine of 3,000 to 3,500 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens (UAH 51,000-59,500) with confiscation of special light or sound signal devices).
- violation of legal requirements regarding the use of such devices (part two) entails a fine of 3,500 to 4,000 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens (UAH 59,500-68,000) with confiscation of special light or sound signal devices);
- provision by an official of an unlawful permit for the installation and/or use or removal from vehicles of special light or sound signal devices (part one) entails a fine of 4,000 to 4,500 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens (UAH 68,000-76,500).
