Yesterday, September 2, the Verkhovna Rada supported a new bill in the first reading — 234 people's deputies voted for it. The document states that transport enterprises will have to provide their rolling stock at the request of the body that made the decision on evacuation, to transport people from territories where an emergency situation has occurred or hostilities are possible.
According to the draft, it is planned to involve cars of both legal entities and ordinary citizens for the evacuation of the population. The state promises to reimburse transport owners for expenses: those whose cars were involved will be compensated for the cost of services provided and actually incurred expenses from the budget allocated for eliminating the consequences of the emergency or preventing its occurrence.
