This is about supplementing Article 122 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses with a new, fifth part. It states: driving as part of a column of more than five vehicles, without prior coordination of the order and conditions of such movement with the Ministry of Internal Affairs unit responsible for road safety, if this created obstacles to traffic, is punishable by a fine of forty to fifty non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens. An alternative punishment is deprivation of driving rights for a period of one to two years, with possible confiscation of the vehicle (paid) or without it.

In short, appearing on the road as part of a column of more than five cars without obtaining the appropriate permission now threatens trouble. An interesting detail: the bill states that the article is supplemented with a fifth part, but when referring to the current Administrative Code, it turns out that this part already exists. It concerns violations of legislation related to the installation and use of special light and sound signals.

In addition, it is planned to adjust the second paragraph of part two of Article 126. This concerns punishment for driving a car by a person who does not have the right to do so. According to the new text, such actions will be punishable by a fine of fifty to one hundred non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, with possible paid confiscation of the vehicle from the owner or without it.

Summing up, it can be noted that organizers of wedding corteges, funeral processions, and similar events will most likely have to prepare the necessary documents in advance at the State Automobile Inspectorate.

Earlier it was reported that on the same day, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law on photo and video recording of traffic violations.
