In the photos published by American media, many cars were not just “flooded” but thoroughly submerged – some vehicles were flooded up to half the height of the body, while others almost completely went under water. In addition, some vehicles received mechanical damage to the body – from trees falling on them, debris from scattered roofs, walls of destroyed buildings, etc.

Hurricane Ida claimed the lives of fifty Americans. Thousands of people were left homeless, millions – without electricity. A state of emergency was declared in many cities. Ida is a category four storm, with wind speeds of 230 km/h.
It is worth noting that a few weeks ago, Europe and China faced serious floods. Damaged cars from these regions may also soon end up in Ukraine. We have already written about how to recognize a flooded car in this article.
