According to the agreement, 55% of the joint venture shares will belong to Rimac, and 45% to Porsche. This is despite the fact that the German brand previously bought 24% of Rimac shares. Also, Oliver Blume will join the supervisory board of Bugatti-Rimac.

At first, Bugatti will continue production of the Chiron, and Rimac will launch the electric hypercar Nevera into production. However, in a few years, the companies will join forces in creating ultra-fast electric vehicles.

Mate Rimac emphasized that Bugatti and Rimac are a perfect fit for each other, as the young Croatian company has established itself as a pioneer in electric technologies, and Bugatti has more than a century of experience in creating expensive top-class sports cars. Now the two brands will combine their knowledge and technologies to implement interesting and special projects.
