The new Renault logo has already survived its ninth update in its long history. The key element of the emblem is still the diamond, which Renault has been using since 1925. However, while the previous figure was three-dimensional, now it is two-dimensional. In addition, the graphics of the polygon have changed: from now on, it is formed by two symmetrical halves that interlock in the middle. The diamond is made in two colors – black and white. The new emblem most closely resembles the 1972 logo.

By the way, the current version of the diamond appeared back in 1992. In 2015, it underwent a minor "facelift."

Renault noted that the new logo will start being attached to cars in 2022, and by 2024 it will appear on all of the manufacturer's vehicles – including cheap electric cars that were previously announced by the French.
