It is known that the moose test checks how well a car can perform a maneuver and avoid a suddenly appearing object on the road. This test originates from Sweden, where animals often appear on highways, which gave it its name.

The best result recorded for the Toyota RAV4 was 63 km/h. For comparison, a result of 70 km/h and above is considered decent, and 77 km/h is already excellent.

Experts noticed that during a sharp maneuver, the stability control system does not work effectively enough. It is important to note that the most powerful version was tested — the 306-horsepower plug-in hybrid RAV4 Prime, whose mass is significantly higher than that of regular modifications, amounting to 1948 kg.
