The electric car is planned to be produced at KamAZ, that is, it is a kind of successor to the Oka (which was also assembled at this enterprise). And the form factor is similar – it is a compact three-door hatchback 3.4 m long and 1.7 m wide.
The car has a very athletic design with a high hood and widened fenders. To reduce weight, the body panels are made of composite materials.
It is known that the interior will feature a flattened steering wheel (flattened at the top and bottom) and a fairly large touchscreen. The Kama-1 electric car will be able to reach 150 km/h, and its range will be about 250 km. The battery can be charged to 70% in 20 minutes.
The plan is to produce 20,000 electric cars annually. The price of the Kama-1 will be from about $13,500.
