Ford continues to trim its model lineup in the domestic market: the brand is betting on crossovers and pickups, dropping less popular vehicles, including the Flex.
The Flex model was in production for eleven years, and apparently, no one will take its place in the lineup. The first generation of the Ford Flex hit the market in 2008, and during all this time, the car was updated only once — in 2011.
In the first year of sales, 14.4 thousand such cars were sold. In the last two years, demand remained steady — at a level of just over 22 thousand cars annually. Since the beginning of this year, 20.3 thousand units of the Flex have been sold in the country.
