The Jaguar XJ in its current generation (X351) has been produced since 2010, and the model was last updated in 2015. The sedan is offered in both standard and long-wheelbase versions, and among the available engines are three-liter petrol and diesel V6s.

Over nine years, the British managed to sell over 120 thousand such sedans. But recently, demand for the model has noticeably decreased. For example, in Europe, the Jaguar XJ found only 1,099 buyers, and in the US — 1,579 cars.

Over the past few years, Jaguar engineers have been working on a new generation flagship sedan, which is expected to get an exclusively electric powertrain.
