The anniversary SUV turned out to be the compact crossover Karoq with a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 150 horsepower, paired with a preselective robotic gearbox. The car has already been handed over to the customer in Spain.

The first SUV of the Czech brand debuted in 2009. Over the entire production period, the Yeti model, which was taken off the assembly line in 2017, sold 684,500 units. The "Yeti" was replaced by the Karoq crossover, whose global sales currently amount to 87,800 vehicles. The Skoda SUV lineup also includes the seven-seat Kodiaq, which has been purchased by 215,700 customers. For the Chinese market, the compact crossover Kamiq is produced, with 12,000 orders already placed.

Skoda crossover assembly is established in the Czech Republic, China, and Russia. In 2019, the model range will be expanded with a production electric SUV based on the Vision X concept, presented in the spring at the Geneva Motor Show.
